How much does the certification cost?
25000 + 18% GST
After enrolling for the program, how soon will the learning start?
Learning batches commence in the first week of every month, beginning from the immediate subsequent month following your enrolment. Prior to the start of the batch, IIT Madras will send you all the necessary login credentials and access details to begin your learning journey.
If I have any queries during learning, how can I get support?
The Learning Management System (LMS) provides a feature to post questions and interact with the support team. All queries submitted through the LMS will be addressed within 48 working hours.
What is the structure of exam?
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type with no negative marking. Duration of examination will be 3 hours.
What is scoring method followed in Exam?
Method is simple. Professionals who take up the exam should secure 60% & above to clear the examination. Equal weightage is given to all questions. 200 multiple choice questions and each question carries 1 mark.
How do I apply for the examination?
IIT Madras will send a notification email at least one week prior to the scheduled exam date. Examinations are typically conducted on the second Sunday of the month. In exceptional cases where the second Sunday coincides with any holiday , the exam may be shifted to the third Sunday.
Are there any geographic limitations for taking online proctored exams?
Our remote Proctored Online exams are available across the Globe.
What if I miss my scheduled examination?
If you register for the examination but do not appear on the scheduled date, it will still be considered an attempt. If you miss one attempt you are left with 2 exam attempts (Each candidate is entitled to three attempts at no additional cost.)
What do I do if I fail in the exam?
If you do not pass the examination, it will be counted as an attempt. Each candidate is entitled to three attempts within one year from the month of joining, at no additional cost. Candidates may utilize their remaining attempts during this period.
Once all three free attempts have been exhausted, candidates must re-enrol in the program as a fresh enrolment in order to continue and retake the examination.
When will the results and certificate be issued after the examination?
The examination results will be announced within 10 days of conducting the exam. Learners who qualify will receive their e-certificate within 10 days of the result announcement.
Will I receive a hard copy of the certificate?
You will be awarded an e-certificate with full validity. In addition, a felicitation ceremony at IIT Madras campus is organized, periodically during which learners who have already received their e-certificate may enroll to participate.
At the ceremony, participants will be presented with a framed printed hard copy of certificate as part of the formal recognition.
How do I know when my Certification expires?
Your CII & IITM SCMPro certificate has a fixed validity of 4 years from the date it was issued. The expiration date is available on the bottom of your certificate. You can also scan the QR code which is Blockchain enabled. It will indicate the date of expiry
What are the steps involved to renew the certificate?
The SCMPro certificate jointly offered by CII and IIT Madras (CODE) is valid for 4 years. To renew it, professionals must re-register for the program, complete updated modules, and pass the remote proctored online exam again. You must initiate renewal before expiry to maintain continuity.
For corporate nominations, can a PO be issued?
Yes, but our recommendation is to advise the employees to enroll, pay and pass to get the fee reimbursed from the respective corporate organization. This will eliminate the challenes on budgetary constraints, ROI and fully places the responsibility on the employee side.
